Responsible profiles should use official citations and verified facts to explain the recipient’s background, the people protected or rescued, the wider context and whether the award was posthumous.
Death and tragedy should never be sensationalised. The focus belongs on courage, service and human dignity.
Symbol and award: the distinction
The wheel in the National Flag is a national symbol. The Ashoka Chakra award is a named decoration with its own eligibility and award rules. Sharing a name does not make them the same object or institution.
